USE CASE / SUPPLEMENTS
Health and weight-loss claims are one of the oldest triggers in spam filtering, and rebill/auto-ship models generate the complaints that get accounts killed. If you sell real supplements and want them in the Gmail inbox, the infrastructure has to be built for the scrutiny.
01 / THE PROBLEM
Nutraceutical and weight-loss offers carry two filter liabilities at once: claim language that models associate with health fraud (“melt fat,” “clinically proven,” “miracle”), and business models — free-trial-to-rebill, auto-ship — that historically drive high complaint and dispute rates. Gmail’s spam models weight both heavily.
Mainstream ESPs classify supplements and especially weight-loss as high-risk or prohibited, and even where allowed, a single complaint spike from a rebill cycle can suspend a shared-pool account. That is a structural mismatch: the exact moment your revenue is highest (a big send) is the moment you’re most likely to get shut off.
Dedicated, warmed infrastructure with daily Postmaster monitoring lets you send at volume while watching the two signals that actually matter for nutra — user-reported spam rate and complaint trend — and throttle before they cross Gmail’s thresholds.
02 / THE GAP
03 / THE STACK
The same dedicated, managed infrastructure across every account. The vertical changes what we watch for; it does not change the guarantees.
Customer traffic is routed exclusively to @gmail.com and enforced at the mail server, so your reputation is built where your list actually is.
One dedicated IPv4 paired with one dedicated sending domain per slot, provisioned to your account and never shared with another tenant.
50,000 to 100,000 content-matched warmup messages per domain per day through Google-operated infrastructure, continuously managed.
Every sending domain synced daily to Google Postmaster Tools; domain and IP reputation, spam rate, and authentication tracked and remediated.
RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe on every send, with bounces and complaints propagated to a per-customer suppression list automatically.
SMTP responses, deferrals, and complaint trends drive automatic throttling and human triage before a reputation problem becomes an outage.
04 / COMPLIANCE
Under DSHEA, supplement marketing may make structure/function claims (how a nutrient affects the body) but may not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and structure/function claims carry the standard FDA disclaimer. The FTC separately requires that health claims be backed by competent and reliable scientific evidence, and that “results not typical” and material terms of any auto-ship or rebill be clear and conspicuous.
You own your claims and your substantiation; we require real consent, enforce one-click unsubscribe and suppression, and treat disease claims, fake before/after results, and undisclosed rebill terms as AUP violations. Honest supplement marketing is deliverable — the compliance discipline and the deliverability discipline are the same discipline.
05 / FAQ
Yes, if the offer is legitimate and the claims are substantiated. Weight-loss is a classic spam category, so the bar is dedicated reputation plus disciplined claims — no “miracle” or disease language, clear typical-results disclaimers, and transparent rebill terms. That keeps complaint rates down, which is what actually protects inbox placement.
Disease claims (“cures diabetes,” “treats anxiety”) are both an FDA problem and a deliverability problem, and exaggerated structure/function language pattern-matches to health fraud. We don’t write your copy, but disease claims violate our AUP, and defensible structure/function claims with the standard disclaimer deliver far better.
It can anywhere — rebill complaints are user-reported spam, which Gmail watches closely. On dedicated infrastructure the damage is contained to your own reputation, and our daily Postmaster monitoring plus automatic throttling catch a complaint trend before it crosses the 0.3% threshold. Clear rebill disclosure at signup is the single best lever you control.
Yes — nootropics, general supplements, and nutraceutical offers are all supported under the same terms: legitimate product, substantiated claims, documented consent. The deliverability approach is identical; the claim surface is what varies by product.
Two ways. First, most mainstream platforms restrict or prohibit supplements regardless of IP type, so approval and suspension risk remain. Second, we route only to Gmail and manage production-scale warmup and Postmaster monitoring specifically for that mailbox — a dedicated IP with no warmup and no Gmail focus is just an untrusted new IP.
