USE CASE / ADULT

Deliverability for age-gated adult brands.

Adult is banned outright by essentially every mainstream ESP, and its content is aggressively filtered. Legitimate, age-verified adult brands — platforms, creators, subscription products — still need compliant infrastructure that will take them and can reach the inbox.

01 / THE PROBLEM

Why adult senders have nowhere compliant to go

Adult content is prohibited by name in nearly every mainstream ESP’s Acceptable Use Policy — not over deliverability, but over brand, payment-processor, and legal risk those platforms won’t carry. Even where a provider technically allows it, explicit content is heavily filtered and complaint-sensitive, so accounts don’t survive.

That leaves legitimate age-verified brands — subscription platforms, creators, adult retail — with real, consented customer email and no compliant place to send it. The category also carries specific legal obligations (age verification, recordkeeping, content labeling) that generic platforms have no interest in supporting.

We provide dedicated, warmed, Gmail-focused infrastructure for compliant adult senders, with the authentication and monitoring the category demands — so a legitimate brand can reach consented adult subscribers without riding a shared reputation it can’t control.

02 / THE GAP

Where mainstream ESPs leave you, and what we do instead

The adult ESP wall

  • Adult content banned by name on mainstream ESPs
  • Explicit creative aggressively content-filtered
  • Payment-processor and brand risk drives blanket bans
  • Specific legal duties generic platforms won’t support
  • No dedicated reputation to build or defend

How we handle adult sends

  • Dedicated IP + domain for your brand only
  • Gmail-only routing with daily reputation monitoring
  • Warmup and throttling sized for real subscriber volume
  • Strong authentication and enforced suppression
  • Vetting that supports the category’s legal requirements

03 / THE STACK

What every adult slot includes

The same dedicated, managed infrastructure across every account. The vertical changes what we watch for; it does not change the guarantees.

Gmail-only routing

Customer traffic is routed exclusively to @gmail.com and enforced at the mail server, so your reputation is built where your list actually is.

Dedicated IP + domain

One dedicated IPv4 paired with one dedicated sending domain per slot, provisioned to your account and never shared with another tenant.

Production-scale warmup

50,000 to 100,000 content-matched warmup messages per domain per day through Google-operated infrastructure, continuously managed.

Google Postmaster monitoring

Every sending domain synced daily to Google Postmaster Tools; domain and IP reputation, spam rate, and authentication tracked and remediated.

One-click unsubscribe + suppression

RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe on every send, with bounces and complaints propagated to a per-customer suppression list automatically.

Deliverability triage

SMTP responses, deferrals, and complaint trends drive automatic throttling and human triage before a reputation problem becomes an outage.

04 / COMPLIANCE

Adult email carries specific legal duties

Adult senders must mail only consented, verified-adult (18+) recipients, and US law adds two specifics: sexually explicit commercial email must carry the required subject-line label under the CAN-SPAM adult-labeling rule (initial content non-explicit until the recipient affirmatively consents), and adult content is subject to 18 U.S.C. § 2257 age-verification recordkeeping obligations on the content side. Unsolicited explicit content and non-consensual material are categorical refusals in our AUP.

You own age verification, 2257 recordkeeping, and content labeling; we require documented consent, enforce suppression and one-click unsubscribe, and vet each brand for legitimacy before provisioning. This is infrastructure for compliant, age-gated adult businesses — not for unsolicited or non-consensual content of any kind.

05 / FAQ

Adult email, answered

Do you really accept adult email senders?

Yes — legitimate, age-verified adult brands, on a case-by-case, tier-limited basis, subject to vetting. Adult is accepted under our AUP; unsolicited explicit content and any non-consensual material are categorical refusals. You must mail only consented 18+ recipients.

What are the labeling rules for adult email?

Under the CAN-SPAM adult-labeling rule, sexually explicit commercial email must include the prescribed subject-line marking, and the initially viewable content must not be explicit until the recipient has affirmatively consented to receive it. You’re responsible for compliant labeling; we provide the infrastructure and enforce suppression and opt-out.

Why can’t I just use a mainstream ESP with a dedicated IP?

Because adult content is prohibited by name in nearly every mainstream AUP regardless of IP type, so approval and suspension risk remain. Beyond that, explicit content is heavily filtered; reaching the inbox needs Gmail-focused warmup, strong authentication, and daily monitoring — which is what this stack provides.

Do you support the recordkeeping requirements for adult content?

Age verification and 18 U.S.C. § 2257 recordkeeping are your obligations on the content side; we don’t host content. What we do is vet for legitimacy before provisioning and provide sending infrastructure that assumes those obligations are met — rather than a generic platform that bans the category entirely.

Will an adult sending domain hurt my main brand domain?

Each slot uses a dedicated, isolated IP and sending domain, so reputation never crosses between brands or tenants. Many adult senders deliberately separate their mailing domain from their primary brand domain; we can provision accordingly during onboarding.
